We enjoyed a BIG breakfast in this tiny town named Orick on our way, but later turned out to hike only no more than 4 miles …

These old giant shady redwoods prefer moist air and mild temperatures. They are so tall that being among them we can’t stop feeling insignificant about ourselves as if we were ants living in a big mansion.
